- Location: Cianciana (AG)
- Notes: Italian Pool Awards 2015 winner
This beautiful villa is located at Cianciana, a small Sicilian village, in a land with a slight slope, facing a magnificent agricultural landscape.
The transformation of a rural building into a realization of contemporary architecture was carried out by the architects Cottone and Indelicato who, based on volumetric sobriety and dialogue with nature, realized a project in perfect harmony with the Sicilian countryside and with the requests of modernity expressed by the client.
The wise organization of the spaces foresees a development that plays on progressive lowering of altitude: next to the living area there is the main terrace; going down of some steps there is the bar area and at a lower level the solarium area with the pool, all made with the wood species Ipè installed with symmetrical milling.
The style and the magnificence of this realization have earned the first prize at the Italian Pool Awards in 2016.
