characteristics: after drying, the wood undergoes thermal modification at approximately 180 °C, which gives it its characteristic burnished colour and improves dimensional stability and biological durability against fungal attack. As a resinous wood, it may develop cracks typical of the species, associated with its broad grain and less compact texture.
intended use: as decking, suitable for decking, cladding and ceilings, QuickSun® louvre systems and architectural profiles. For decking, use around swimming pools is not recommended due to its possible tendency to surface splintering.
