characteristics: after complete drying, the wood undergoes high-temperature thermal modification, which gives it its burnished colour and improves dimensional stability and biological durability against fungal attack. As a resinous wood, it may develop cracks typical of the species and may be prone to surface splintering.
intended use: suitable for decking, cladding and ceilings, QuickSun® louvre systems and architectural profiles. For decking, use around swimming pools or in areas frequently walked on barefoot is not recommended due to its possible tendency to surface splintering.
