5 thousand metres of walkways and docks made with pre-assembled Ipè deck boards

The Aranci Gulf is located in Gallura, in the province of Sassari (Italy). This place is rich in beautiful beaches to be discovered. Thanks to its geographical exposure, it’s home to one of Sardinia’s busiest seaports.

Here, Ravaioli has designed and completed an important Wood Engineering project, which includes the long seafront walkway deck and the mooring port, covering a total surface of 5 thousand square metres.

a beautiful, creative, and quality solution

The flooring of the seafront walkway and the mooring port is made with Ipè deck boards installed using pre-assembled plots with visible screws. For the structural parts, Ravaioli used Azobè wood, ideal for marine constructions exposed to wind and weather agents.

The result is a beautiful, creative, and quality solution that redefined the lines of the Aranci Gulf seafront, thanks to its functional and architectural potential.
