Dimitri Montanari, AIAPP partner and freelance in ornamental green, combines his passion for nature and architecture to a long experience in the design of green areas, from terraces to public parks.
With his education in agronomy at Agronomy School and at the Faculty of Agronomy of the Bologna University, he completed his internship at the Royal Botanic Garden Kew in London and he attended many specialisation courses in landscape architecture. He travelled a lot to explore other ways to interpret the green areas and find out new and peculiar construction techniques. He is specialised in spatial planning, landscape permissions, infrastructure mitigation, reforestations, naturalistic engineering, restoration of gardens, design of parks, roof gardens and terraces.
approach to the project
The garden is the cover of a house and it often also reflects the personality of those who live in it.
Every time he designs a garden or a terrace, he looks for a customised solution, tailor-made for the client by analysing the strengths and weaknesses of the context they are in, and listening to the customer’s needs.
Every project has got unique elements that characterise the garden, making it unique and distinguished from the others.
