The 40 years of activity have been celebrated at the historical headquarters in Villanova di Bagnacavallo, in the presence of authorities and friends. The heartfelt greeting by Elio Bagnari and that of the president of the ER Region Michele De Pascale.
Applauses, tears of emotion at the event organised last Saturday to celebrate the 40 years of activity of the Bagnari family at the helm of Ravaioli Legnami, leading company in Italy in the outdoor sector, decking and cladding, ranges followed by the brand Aeterno, dedicated to the indoor.
The morning, rich in insights and interventions that remembered the past, with a look constantly turned to the future, has been spent at the warehouse of the historical headquarters in Villanova di Bagnacavallo (RA), that had been “dressed-up” for the event with wood as charming frame to the setup created for the occasion. The headquarters today are sided by two sales points and offices in Rimini, Villanova di Castenaso (BO) and Milan, and welcomed the local administrators of the territory, civil and military authorities, and many other representatives of federations and trade associations. All of whom attended to give a long and heartfelt applause to Elio Bagnari, soul of the company since February 1985, when he took over the company from the Ravaioli family. Elio himself remembered the key moments of four decades of entrepreneurship by first calling on to his side the people with whom he began his long journey, and then, in a symbolic handover, his children Angelo and Chiara, as well as the General Director Mirko Franceschelli.
First, a morning enriched by the conference entitled “Responsibility. People, community, environment”, attended by Giacomo Sintini, former professional volleyball player and now Randstad manager, Aida Morelli, architect and president of Parco del Delta del Po, and Mario Benedetto, journalist and teacher at the Luiss Business School. During this conference the discussed topics were the importance of individual responsibility, the awareness of one’s own role and the sense of belonging to a working group, the role of women in the company and the link that may create between architecture and environment, but also the generational change and the crucial relevance of family companies in the national economic context. All of which was steeped in a sense of proud belonging to a community such as the one in Villanova di Bagnacavallo (RA), where this long adventure for Ravaioli Legnami began, a company that now proposes its product in every corner of the world, from Asia to America, from Europe to Africa.
The greeting by Michele de Pascale – president of Region Emilia-Romagna – closed the morning, and he did not fail to underline the importance of a long journey such as the one accomplished by Ravaioli until today, that started as a small local activity and today is capable of bringing Romagna’s name all over the world. His speech also included a mention to the current situation of the local territory, where Ravaioli and other companies continue to invest, guaranteeing the maximum effort in tackling the topic of hydrogeological instability and defence of the soil, which are two proxies that de Pascale has chosen to manage himself for the whole Region during his mandate.
