Enamel and water-based paint for the restoration of flooded walls made available free of charge and distributed by Ravaioli Legnami

The products are supplied by Chimiver Panseri spa from the province of Bergamo, a historic supplier to the Romagna company.

Concrete help born from a decade-long collaboration made not only of work but also of respect and friendship. This is the basis from which the new initiative was born in favour of the populations flooded last May in Romagna and carried out by two companies always attentive to the social aspect of solidarity such as Ravaioli Legnami and Chimiver Panseri Spa.

On the one hand there is Ravaioli Legnami, a reference company in the world of decking, with the production and distribution of materials for outdoor flooring and coverings, with a vast range of solutions for decking and cladding, both in wood and WPC. On the other there is Chimiver Panseri, a leading company in the sector of glues, paints and products for the treatment and maintenance of indoor and outdoor floors, from wood to resin. On the one hand there is Romagna, deeply wounded by nature, and on the other there is Lombardy – in this case Pontida (BG) where Chimiver is based – which has proven attentive and ready to provide support as demonstrated on several occasions in recent times. In the middle, the largest flood in history, capable of hitting an entire region.

And from the decades-long collaboration between these two entities, a project is born that will bring more than concrete help to all the affected populations. In fact, in the next few days Chimiver Panseri will provide three products completely free of charge and available while supplies last through Ravaioli Legnami to anyone who needs them. These products can be used to restore the damages caused by water.

In the warehouses of Ravaioli and in the logistics centres for flood victims set up in the area entire pallets of 5-litre bins will be stored containing one of the three products available to those who wish to use them to restore the walls of homes. In particular, these are Primer – a wall fixative indicated for the preliminary treatment of plasters and plasters – water-based wall enamel with a washable satin effect, and semi-washable breathable water-based paint suitable for internal walls.

Chimiver Panseri is the supplier of this material, and it is particularly active through the commitment of its owner Oscar Panseri, also president of the Chimici Group of Confindustria Bergamo, while Ravaioli Legnami will take care of distribution, welcoming local private customers to its headquarters in Villanova di Bagnacavallo.

“Being able to count on the concrete and effective solidarity of suppliers and companies with which a friendly relationship has been built over the years is certainly a factor of (also) moral support not only for our company, which has also been affected by the flood, but also for all the citizens of the area” – points out Angelo Bagnari, owner of Ravaioli Legnami and president of the Young Entrepreneurs Group of Confindustria Romagna. “Over the years, Romagna and its people have earned respect and attention with their ability to work while respecting the needs of others. Now this reputation is helping to ensure that the most attentive entrepreneurs support us in a moment of difficulty.” And speaking of concreteness, the products that will be distributed will be useful precisely in the post-summer restart phase: “Many technicians – says Angelo Bagnari – suggest starting the restoration and renovation of plasters and walls from the end of the summer period and we are therefore convinced that this gesture of solidarity by Chimiver Panseri will be greatly appreciated.” Finally Bagnari closes with a hope for the future “As president of Young Entrepreneurs Group of Confindustria I believe in the strength of our territory and I am sure that entrepreneurs, agricultural activities and traders, who have already proven to be a real point of strength for the whole of Italy in the past, will be able to return to being a driving force by leveraging competence and organisation, starting from the necessary aid that must be provided by the Government”.
